K. Guesthouse
The project explores how architectural quality can emerge from clarity rather than complexity.
In the absence of strong contextual references, the building establishes its own identity through rhythm, light, and proportion. Repetition, scale, and spatial continuity shape both the exterior expression and the interior experience, creating a coherent architectural language throughout the project.
A simple volume is organized around a multi-storey atrium that brings daylight deep into the building and establishes visual connections across all levels. The repetitive logic of the guestroom modules defines the architectural rhythm, while a deep canopy introduces a human scale to the building and shapes the arrival experience.
Rather than relying on formal complexity or an extensive material palette, the project focuses on a limited number of architectural elements, carefully composed to create a clear and enduring spatial experience.
